  • No, not at all, there may be a number of causes for your soft-tissue complaint.

Many people find injury treatment sports massage beneficial to accompany training, improve general posture, or even fix that niggle you feel when you’re trying to get on with the gardening.

  • This depends on what soft-tissue complaint you present with, its severity and how long you have had it for. Chronic injuries and complaints usually require more sessions than more recent musculoskeletal problems.

A personalised treatment plan will be recommended after your initial session. The number of sessions will vary depending on your overall health, type of injury and your commitments to any home-care instructions given.

Regular follow-ups promote best outcomes. After the first few sessions, we can reassess your treatment plan and you can decide if you wish to continue with sessions or you feel you can manage the home-care yourself. Many clients opt to receive maintenance massage every 2-6 weeks to keep themselves in tip-top condition.

  • This is a great idea! Many clients use massage to keep their body in the best shape and identifying any problems sooner than if they didn’t have regular treatment. A deep tissue massage is likely more suitable unless there is a particular area you would like treating.
